So, I have been watching “The Walking Dead” series on AMC lately. I know many of you are probably not interested in zombies but I find the concept kind of fascinating. I was thinking the other day, “what would I want to carry to defend myself in that situation?” So, out of general curiosity I pose to you the following question:

It’s the zombie apocalypse, what handgun(s) do YOU choose to carry for close quarter combat?

Our Cat

On the floor
The great huntress waits
Ribbon be warned

My Son

Green eggs and ham
My mother read it to me
My son laughs with glee

Anonymous said: Your haiku about "double knit cotton" being "draped on bountiful peaks" sounds like it's really obviously about breasts.

Funny how poetry works that way.

Haiku

Double knit cotton

Draped on bountiful peaks

Mountains majesty

Senryu

Her shapely butt

Even after all the years

Still turns my head

We (the wife, kids, and I) ate at Freebird’s World Burrito the other day. For those of you who have never heard of them, they are a burrito place that wraps their burritos in aluminum foil. What you do is carefully unwrap your burrito and make stuff from the aluminum foil. The good stuff gets put on shelves and walls. Here is an Origamido butterfly (designed by Michael LaFosse) that I folded and taped to the wall at our local Freebird’s.

I thought I would put a cactus on my desk at work. I just couldn’t help but to fold a couple of butterflies for it. I hope the thorns don’t hurt their little feet…

So the company I work for has moved offices. Yes the whole enchilada, moved, 7 miles. Which actually works for me because its 7 miles closer to where I live. This has also shortened my commute in the morning from 40 minutes to 25 minutes. So to celebrate, I am starting over on my “Desk Origami”. The first is this very pretty “Origamido” butterfly that was designed by Michael LaFosse. Hope you enjoy it…
